How to submit your PAYE return

Add your employees one by one or in bulk and submit your PAYE schedule.

You've registered your employees on your hard copy document, You have entered the necessary details still on hard copy, and reviewed your PAYE information still on hard copy.
.
But wait, the hard copy are with you. How can CRIRS see what you are seeing ..

And now comes the moment of truth!

Let's submit that PAYE return!

Don't worry — CrossRiverPay 360 Gov makes the process simple, guided and convenient.
But before we begin...

Step-by-step: Submitting your PAYE return

1. Log in to CrossRiverPay 360 Gov

Start by logging into your CrossRiverPay 360 Gov account using your registered credentials.

2. Find Your PAYE Section.

Once you're inside your taxpayer dashboard, navigate to the PAYE section.

This is where your PAYE journey begins.

Locate the PAYE section as indicated in the Red Box below:

First Thing First

Who are your employees?

It is time to Import them into the system.

What is the format?
Observe the format below; there is:
No headings other than the column headings

No Merged cells

No formulas in the spreadsheet.

Are you Ready?

Take a look at the Red Box Section above, and locate Employee List.

Click on it (Employee List)

You should see the image below

Do you see that blue button mid right? enclosed by the green box here illustrated?

click on it - The (Add) Button

It drops into 2 options:
1. Single Employee

This option allows you to enter employee one at a time. But wait! that will be a lot of work for entering a bunch of employees! what should we do?

There's a faster way

There is an option to upload a bulk load of employees. but before we take on 2 (Bulk upload) below. Let's discuss what you will see when you choose Single Employee. you will see as displayed below:

As indicated by the green arrow. Enter a TIN or email to view an existing record, as shown below. But if the record is not available or the Taxpayer does not exist. Click on Create TIN for new employee as shown by the Red Arrow above.

Now. Let say you just want to add a single employee or just a few. below is what you will see when you check a correct active TIN as is indicated by the green arrow above. you should see as shown below:

Once you have filled all the necessary fields as indicated in the red box above, scroll down and see the add employee button as illustrated below

What if I have a lot of employees?

Do not worry!

As is indicated in the 4th Image in this article. When you click on Add, you will see Single employee and Bulk Upload. so, now let us talk about Bulk Upload

2. Choosing Bulk Upload

This is when there are many employees. and adding them one by one will give you gray hairs.

it will not be practical to add them one by one.

clicking on the Bulk Upload will display as shown below

Click on the (Download PAYE Schedule) as indicated by the red arrow above.

Enter the details and populate the downloaded excel sheet accordingly. row by row until all employees are entered according to the requested documents as is appropriate once done,

Save your document

Know where you saved it. then click on the Blue arrow as is illustrated by the blue button above. (Upload the filled schedule)

And upload the correct saved file. And that's it.

Done

We just uploaded our Employee List.

Now CRIRS knows how many employees you have and their emoluments. Filing becomes very easy!
